Just click start and maybe leave the tab open somewhere or watch it. I will definitely more features in the future. This game just simulates worms and traits that become more common as they multiply through fitness of "genes". Controls: P: Hides food and makes worms chase mouse Space: Changes Backdrop Left Mouse Button: Can click and drag the food around. Information: Worms now have to learn to go after food. Behaviors are passed on genetically as are other traits that may or may not become fit. Guide the first worm to as much food as you can so it increases its desire to get food when it is hungry. The spawn of that worm will carry the same behavior traits and possibly mutated physical traits of its parent. Overtime worms that don't eat and aren't hungry will slowly lose the behavior for getting food. New borns will initially chase the mouse until they are hungry, they then will start either searching for mouse or food depending on the traits received from the parent. It may take a while before all worms naturally chase the food and only the food when hungry. Note: The worms may be flickering from headed towards the mouse and food, this is because they are not sure which path to follow. You can control how worms evolve by either guiding them or not. By guiding them to the food, and if they are touching the red circle, then the worm will also learn to associate the MOUSE for food rather than the food itself which can result in worms adapting for mouse chasing when hungry rather than food chasing. Note: Worms will forget their earliest remembered encounter every 60 seconds once they are not on the hunt for food.
Still have more I will add and develop. Comment if you see any cool patterns, last a really long time, get a ton of worms, eat a ton of food, or you have any suggestions! (Please read all of the information above) Give love if you like, and give a star if you love! (I recommend just leaving the program running in the background for a while in its own window and just seeing what happens. Try having the worms learn new behavior by starting off with them mainly associating the mouse with food and then see if the survive long enough to learn to associate only the food with food.) Updates: Version 2.0 - Food is now drag-able -changed rate of mutation and offspring count
