These were two individual pieces created in order to practice creating different materials - was really focused on imitating refraction/reflection with the ice one, the fire was testing how organic smoke/fire shapes could be created. Palettes used here were created by a pixel artist named Nao; when I was starting out using other people's palettes helped me develop a feel for effective hue shifting as well as manipulating saturation in a palette. All of the artworks on @Equidas were created using my own colours but I doubt they'd have looked the same weren't it for many of these little pieces earlier on :) 6/4/20
