The people of the town have decided it is haunted, though they couldn't imagine by who, for no one remembers anyone ever living there. Anita Dobson, an actress, moves temporarily into Kensington with her friend David Bowie, and prefers to focus more on her books than whatever the public is murmuring about. However, one stormy winter's night, her life of dreaming might change forever.
