A bit late, but still... I made some art to celebrate the release of Porter Robinson's new album "nurture" It is wonderful and makes me feel all sorts of warm feelings. :D Also, it turns out I can still draw okay on paper, as I drew the first draft during in-person classes. none of the songs are in the project, but my dad says that he'll get me the album once I improve my math grade :D I imagine things when I listen to the songs, and I kind of want to animate to them... I hope that when I do, my skill can match up to the music. The project contains the paper version, the digital colored version, the color palette I used, and a version with more overlays to bring out the colors a bit more. Press space or the arrow keys to see them. I like the second digital version better, and it reminds me of one of my characters I haven't shared with you guys, but I was debating on changing her design... and this one looks like the old one- Since I drew it on paper, I decided to try to keep some of the pencil nature in the drawing. That might have messed with the coloring in places, but I really like how this turned out. :D I might post the speedpaint later credits - Porter Robinson for inspiring the artwork and also his wonderful music - color palette from Coolers.co - drawn on ibisPaint X by me some tags and other random notes, apperantly #porter #robinson #nurture #art #release The first time I heard "Look at the Sky," I didn't like it too much, but two months later I decided to give it another try and I'm warming up to it. :)
