When you trip, you stumble. To trip means to make a mistake or mess up. When have you messed up? I'm probably not going to forget the time I made my P.E. teacher really annoyed by not listening and technically doing the opposite of what he was saying (whoop! I got out of that alive!). Or the time I accidentally did Science in my History book. But it definitely wasn't my fault because they made the History book the same colour as the Science book so-
