The slider goes from 8 to 20 as passwords shorter than 8 characters are generally not as secure, and anything above 11 characters is overkill. Just double click the list and copy and paste the final password. This entire thing is kinda stupid because from the beginning you are already pretty secure as long as you don't use any shady programs or sites. Always use different passwords per website. Remember to use 2fa as well
