Dᴀᴡɴ Iɴᴛᴏ Dᴜsᴋ - CHAPTER 6 Lightning struck a tree near Pandora and Apollo, scaring the life out of them both. Stray bits of wood flew everywhere and sparks of fire lit the grass around the base for a few seconds before it was drowned out by rain. "We need to find shelter." Apollo said, running to a stone overhang on a little hill. "Obviously." Pandora answered, her voice slightly sarcastic. The two wolves ran over, soaking wet and cold. Apollo shook himself, splashing water droplets on the floor and looked at his sister sadly. "We need to find a new home before we both die of starvation or something." he grunted, licking his paw. "Or just keep ru-" He paused, his ears pricked and he looked into the rain. "What?" Apollo silenced his sister. "Quiet. There's someone out there... Or something." Pandora looked at her brother, a little offended, but otherwise curious at why he stopped. After a while, she too heard the noises. "It's so wet!" she heard one howl. "Stop acting like a pup, Nightshade!" Another barked. "It's just rain!" Apollo whispered to his sister. "I think we've found company." Pandora smiled. "Well, let's go meet them!" She sprinted out into the pouring rain gingerly. "Pandora! They could be hostile!" She ignored him and continued to run. Apollo quickly got up and shot after her. After sprinting what must've been 56 meters, the wolves in the distance noticed the siblings hurtling towards them. "INTRUDERS!" Nightshade bellowed, baring her teeth and going into a battle-ready stance.
