lol splitting this into parts because my big dumb computer won't load any more than like,, ten frames of animation at a time rip and, apparently, i did a /lot/ of map parts in 2019 so yeah the idea here is that since all the coding and frames for these parts are still on my computer, (and since i kind of erased everything on @charlies-hoodie permanently like half a year ago,,,) i reupload the ones i can to both prove my existence as charlie and to kind of,, put em back into the world ya know?? apparently some of you guys actually enjoyed the stuff i created for whatever reason lol here's commentary about each of the parts i put them in order of how proud i am of them least to most oh and these are all from like 2019. i'd like to think i've improved in my year of absence in which i did absolutely no drawing nor animating /hj 1 - the king intro super rad map hosted by @starredskys, the only reason i have it at the bottom of the list is because it technically isn't entirely my work (i finished the sketch/idea that @savedeforest made when they couldn't finish so please give them the proper credit) so it'd feel wrong to be the most proud of it i think lol. it looks okay i think??? i don't entirely despise my work on it so there's something 2 - pillow talk ten a. add more frames. please. the part's like four seconds you could've put more than ten frames??? yeah the animation is incredibly choppy but i mean?? could be worse lol i think this was good practice for some more movement maybe?? 3 - saint bernard five cool map by vi (@snoopywoodstock13) uhh okay so the animation is actually pretty good here?? like i'm actually kind of proud of what i made??? the head going down matches the beat and that's sick. lip-sync is neat :ok hand: but it's lower on the list because that silhouette transition is not that good lol and the art is kinda bad rip. tears look like eye crusties 4 - pigeon thirteen + fourteen warrior cats??? in mY special interest??? don't worry i'm over it by now lol i will never participate in anything remotely warrior cats Ever Again. so here's a neat map by it's about snowtuft being snowkit who went evil i guess or something lol. there's no animation here but i think i've got it high up on the list because of the art (still,, sort of proud of it??? maybe???) and how all the movements sync up with the music,, and i'm really proud of the movement code i think. yeah the music synchronization and the code are what landed this thing pretty high lol 5 - wolf song two cool map hosted by i have never heard that song in my life and hope to never hear it again uhh okay so this one is highest because!! i just love it. the animation is not that good (lip-sync is decent, dear /lord/ that attempt at walking, it's better if you just focus on the dog in the middle), but the thing for me here is the story. this was supposed to be about two of my characters at the time,, aurek and cheira. cheira's basically a real bad dad who left aurek at a young age, but when aurek (and his friend epse, who's just the muzzle against the red background) meet up with him accidentally, aurek is all too eager to befriend him, giving cheira (who's a massive jerk) the opportunity to manipulate aurek. epse tries to warn aurek about him, but fails. i'm sorry i just ahgfhsgdHGAK i love when my map parts have a story attached to them ok uhhh tUnE iN nExT tIMe where we go through aNoThEr fEw maP pArts thanks for putting up with me lol - credits: art/animation - i did all of this. except for where i didn't map hosts - , , , map songs - the king by (?), pillow talk by (??), saint bernard by lincoln, pigeon by cavetown, wolf song by (???)
