Just input a line, you're good to go! Type [stop] to end your line if your line isn't 7 words long, 7 words is the word limit, you can make the limit bigger but you'd have to alter the code and make new variables so just look at the comments added if you wanna change it up and remix. It asks you 10 times for words but it plays the first 7. FAQ for acceptable words: How does capitalization exist? Every word except I is not capitalized at all, this is case sensitive, Can I add my own words? Yes, if you think there's too little, just click remix and get out your microphone (please don't use text to speech though for the words you want to add :P) Is this free to use? Yep! All you have to do is remix or backpack it, then credit @TheFantasticFailure (me) for the code, and @H2OTaco for the voice acting. What about numbers? Numbers have to be written out in word form, and when you're doing numbers like 35 billion, you have to spell thirty, then five, then billion, think about how they're pronounced to save time.
Thanks a bunch to H2OTaco for recording themself saying every single word and adding the effect to it again for every single word! Okay guys its a me here to outlaw the absolute crime that is scratch's text to speech system. Here's a text to speech tool that uses actual voice lines in order to make a realistic-ish voice for your video games! The words are a bunch of common ones, then numbers, then a bunch of video game terms from mostly fps games which is what I think this is best used for. FUN FACT: Half life uses this system for the first game, it's human enemies all communicate to each other through "barks" which are things the let the player know what they're thinking. In order to have many voice lines, they string together prerecorded words to form sentences in the game to talk, this is basically the system I made. Barks are super useful for letting the player know how to react, if enemies didn't say a word the player wouldn't know what to do, and would unfairly stumble upon five enemies and die, instead of hearing five enemies saying "nice job teammate" and stuff. Okay long description over, go have fun with it.
