Queen Scarlet was currently talking to one of her guards about the incident that had happened earlier that day. You should listen to him. I'm not as humble as you think. Glory shook away the thought. "Fine. If you don't believe me, see for yourself. Test her. Force her to fight your champion. If she's smart enough to kill a dragon, she's smart enough to save herself." The queen laughed. "Oh, Flare! This is exactly why you weren't promoted. You are too naive to believe that Rainwings will never be smart enough to kill a dragon." Flare looked down at the ground. He seemed deeply offended by Scarlet's insult. Glory could also see something else in his eyes: hatred. Why would someone work for Queen Scarlet if he hated her? Maybe he didn't have a choice. Then Flare whispered something to Scarlet. Glory leaned forward and nearly risked being caught. Look how vibrant she is!" "I think she was listening," muttered Flare. "By all the moons, you completely bore me, Flare! If you mention my innocent, lazy artwork again, I swear I will personally slice your snout," the Skywing queen threatened. And if I hear anyone call me lazy or a piece of artwork again, I will personally slice their snout.
