You appear unconscious, before an echoey voice speaks. "Y/N? What are you doing here?" You managed to open your eyes and realize you are in The Inbetween. The figure who spoke clears in your vision. White hoodie, light brown hair, and a simple smile went across his face. "Karl? Where am we?" Karl looked around before replying. "We're in The Inbetween. A place, that time travellers visit throughout their journeys." You're still confused, but try to understand. "Okay, uh does anyone know about this place?" Karl shrugged. "Only you, myself, and whoever left you this." He hands you a book, titled. "Y/N Welcome" You open the book to see some text. "Welcome Y/N. I have been waiting for you. You and Karl will meet me soon, but for now, please complete the task at hand. I have left books around the place for you and Karl to find. These books will play an important role in both of your ability discoveries. You both must work together to find the books before sunset. Good luck." You read outloud. Karl shifts in confusion. "Hm, sounds interesting, and the two of us are new to this place. So we should probably stick together to solve this one. Where should we explore first?" --
