I don't usually do a lot with audio but thought this was kind of neat! This is a prototype of a game music engine that puts a song together by layering tracks on top of each other. It offers some flexibility for games where you might want background music to adapt to a player's situation or surroundings. Click a track to start playing it and click it again to stop it. Some tracks have variations that you can cycle through by clicking the smaller button next to it. Click the previous/next arrows to change the song. Audio might be a little glitchy since each measure has its own sound file and also Scratch doesn't seem to get along very well with sound in general. The songs are "Beacon Beach" and "The Beach, 7am" by scntfc from the OXENFREE soundtrack, recreated by me in Online Sequencer. Check out the (much better) original versions in the links below.
