I wrote this on the spot days ago, I bet you it's bad. Also this is being shared because birthday. Also Reaper drew that, not me. Just don't say complete trash, but I'm not improving it. Also, that's not Scorpius, it's something that's inspired by Scorpius.
It's noon, and the 10 explorers are walking along in the jungle, following the sound of the stream. At last, they find it, and set up their camp. They drink their remaining water and go to sleep, the tree canopy blocking most of the light. When they wake up, they see almost nothing. They each count eight other people. What happened to the other person? They left their camp to find the missing explorer, but all they see is more jungle in every direction. The group splits up. Five of them stay at the camp, and the remaining four venture deeper into the jungle to find out what happened. They came back, with no information. More days pass, and each day, another person goes missing. Every passing day seems to hint more and more at something else being with them. Their defenses were destroyed, some of their supplies gone, and strange howling. At some point, three people remained, and they decided enough was enough. They were going to find this monster, no matter what. They went into the jungle together, carrying weapons, as this creature seemed to be rather aggressive. They kept hearing the sounds they heard before; strange howling, metallic roars and growls, and the shrieks of other dinosaurs. The group walked towards these sounds, with great caution. The creature stared at them, before jumping off a tree and pouncing at them. It missed and fell on the ground, giving the trio time to escape. The creature had cold, almost black eyes, a rather short snout, small, curving teeth sticking out of every point possible on its mouth, and a terribly long forked tongue. Its body was adorned with some bone and feathers, which were bloody and destroyed, and its hands were unnaturally pronated, and its fingers almost stabbing its own hands. It had opposable thumbs as well. The creature had a long and thin tail, with spikes covering it. Its flesh appeared to be rotten, and its skin black. It got back up, and chased the explorers. It managed to grab them first a brief second, and they slid out of its grasp. Their weapons were completely useless, and were dropped. The explorers saw an overgrown building, and ran towards it as fast as they could, the beast constantly getting ahead of them. At some point, it managed to bite one of the explorers, but it didn't cause him to bleed. They broke into the building, and found a large spike inside. They used it to stab the creature, running at them as fast as it could. Its neck was punctured, and it layed there right outside the door, writhing and shrieking. Inside, they saw that some parts of the building weren't overgrown at all, and one of them spotted a box, which had the word 'Props' written on it. Inside were plates and metal parts and a Tyrannosaurus head. One of the explorers was gone, and only two were left. The duo saw two lights in the darkness, which got closer and brighter every second. Then, the source of the lights revealed itself. A dull green dilophosaurs, with a decayed human inside of it, and the dilophosaurs itself decayed. It hissed, and leaped at one of the explorers. The dilophosaurus looked up at the explorer who escaped, and said in a dry, soulless voice: "You can't take me away." The final explorer was traumatized, and relieved. He took some supplies and tried to leave. But there was another beast, right behind him... A scream teared through the jungle, and silence dominated again. Maybe for another 30 years.
