Kou never had a good relationship with his family and thus, he grew a desire to want a person or people he could treasure and became jealous of people who had that. Because he was so disciplined, he thought his greed and jealousy were signs that he would become evil, making him suppress his emotions. The keychain on his sword constantly changes colors and portrays his emotions. Currently, they are red and green, representing anger and greed. He also hides cow attributes around people in fear that people might judge him. The only time he shows them is when his emotions rage and are uncontrollable or when he is alone. His sword is his only best friend, but he doesn't know that it has a curse on it that slowly drains his life energy.
