This is Music Creator! This game is intended for everybody with any level of skill when it comes to music :) -♬- To change the tempo, click in the top corner where it says "Tempo" and type in the new tempo. The tempo can't be lower than 20, and can't be higher than 500. (measured in bpm) -♬- To change the octave, do the same. Click the top part, where it says "Octave" and type in the new octave. The octave can't be less than 1, or more than 9. -♬- To play what you've created, click the play button in the bottom right corner. -♬- This program/game can play two notes at once, known as the "Melody" and the other in the "Bass" section. To switch between them, click the orange square in the top right corner which says Melody (or Bass, depending on what you have it set it to currently) -♬- On the bottom left corner, you're able to delete either everything or the latest thing that you had put in. If you choose everything, then it will delete everything from BOTH the bass and melody. If you choose "Last Input", it will delete the last thing that you're set to (bass or melody). This option won't affect both the bass and melody at once. -♬- Rests are basically the number of beats it will not play a note. Both modes have their own rests. The "Beats" list affects how long the note is played (the first list) and the octave represents which octave the note will play in (second list). The notes can go as low as sixteenth notes! -♬- To get a larger amount of beats, click the square under the "Beats" list. The same goes for the "Rest" list. Clicking the red circle under the "Rest" list sets the rest to "0", and clicking the red circle under the "Beats" list sets the beats to 0.0625 (1/16). -♬- 2k+ blocks - 30+ hours of work -♬- You can now save and load your progress! If you wish to share, or just check out someone else's creation, you can do so in this forum: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/517669/?page=1#post-5290104 Have fun! :D -♬- After clicking "Save", your code should appear at the bottom. The longer the piece is, the longer it will take to save and load. So just be patient. To copy the code, triple-click it. -♬- One more thing; there are no flats, only sharps. And the sharp notes appear with a 1 after the note. For example, a C# will look like c1. A D# (E flat) is a d1. *will change very soon! -♬- ***IMPORTANT*** Instruments: 1 - Piano 2 - Electric Piano 3 - Organ 4 - Guitar 5 - Electric Guitar 6 - Bass 7 - Pizzicato 8 - Cello 9 - Trombone 10 - Clarinet 11 - Saxophone 12 - Flute 13 - Wooden Flute 14 - Bassoon 15 - Choir 16 - Vibraphone Beats/Rests: 0.0625 - 1/16 0.125 - 1/8 0.1875 - 3/16 0.25 - 1/4 0.3125 - 5/16 0.375 - 3/8 0.4375 - 7/16 0.5 - 1/2 0.5625 - 9/16 0.625 - 5/8 0.6875 - 11/16 0.75 - 3/4 0.8125 - 13/16 0.875 - 7/8 0.9375 - 15/16 1 - 1/1 Credits: Thumbnail image from google.
