CURRENTLY GLITCHED so you might not actually be able to do anything. If you really want to play for some reason, just see inside and actually click on the code. -Be aware of glitches, click the flag slowly lots of times, and don't look in the comments section unless you want to see tons of spoilers for the plot- (COMPLETE; remember to ❤ and ✰ and maybe follow me if you enjoyed the game!) If there are any glitches that you experienced (there are a lot), tell me! Read all of the following before playing (including the notes and credits up to the update log). Some of it will be information you already know, but most of it is vital stuff. (I swear, no one reads these instruction things anymore. I have to be honest, I don't either, but then I usually end up in a bad place.) ✦starting✦ Please click the green flag at least about five times before starting. Click 'play' to start, and look at the eyes of the cat on the title screen. Eerie, right? (Not really.) Rubble, the medicine cat (who used to be a loner and chose to keep his name), will ask you what your name and your gender is. Type only the prefix for the name, and either 'she-cat' or 'tom' for the gender. If you type the genders wrong or don't enter anything at all, then you will need to start over. ✦controls✦ Use arrow keys to move (left for left, right for right), including the down key to curl up into a sleeping position and up to leap. Click on the black entrances to enter or exit a den (the dark green space at the bottom of the bush for the medicine den) and the pawprints to go to another screen. C and s are for crouching (different directions), which makes prey appear at the hunting grounds, and press spacebar to pounce on it. (There is no recreational hunting; only for assignments.) Use f to fight in a battle or training session. Do not spam it. Clicking your nest will not make it go to morning. Instead, you will black out on the screen for two seconds every time... ... ... During a cutscene or lesson with your mentor, you will not be able to go to another den, exit the current den, or go to another screen. ✦kit✦ Being a kit, you can only go around and explore while talking to everyone (as Rubble recommends). However, you will start to learn some things from those you interact with, and from there on, the plot only gets... wilder. So buckle up. Hint: talk to the little golden ginger she-kit named Emberkit, most of all! It will be important. To become an apprentice, go to the main camp clearing (where the fresh-kill pile is) at day 6 (moon 6, technically). There are notifications to help you. ✦apprentice✦ It is not a glitch if you do not appear to age after moon 6 anymore. To age further, you must complete the assignments your mentor gives you. Battle train a lot as you will need to fight later on. Being an apprentice opens up whole new areas: the pawprints leading to the apprentice and warrior dens, the training grounds, and the hunting grounds. Talk to everyone around the camp again, since you won't know if something has changed (not the elders, though), and the new cats, of course. I cannot make this clearer: Emberpaw! Play her game when you click on her (although she will interpret your answer as a 'yes' no matter what you say, since it is plot-related). Here is a warning: after you see what her little 'game' really is, you will have to make a choice (choose either 'yes' or 'no'). I have to say, if you choose the wrong one, then it will come crashing down on you later in the game. ✦other✦ The other things you have to do in the game are self-explanatory. I don't think I have to say much for the other sections. Just follow the cats' instructions and click around. Sometimes, you also have to think back to your days of training... hint hint. ◀ Note ▶ It doesn't really matter who the main character's father is, because in MistClan, there are no certified mates. I based this off of the MudWings tribe in the Wings of Fire series by Tui T. Sutherland, where there is breeding night every once in a while. Bonus: answer this at the end: what do you think the prophecy really meant?
