────────〖Dawn of the 16th〗──────── Before I begin this description, I'd just like to mention that this is a thumbnail entry for a MAP called Dawn of the 16th, for a roleplay I'm in called The Hunger Games. Both the roleplay and MAP are really great~ and the owners of all these characters and the owner of the roleplay. Oh, and click space, the stage, or the arrow keys to see other thumbnail options! I have one with the ghosts and one without the ghosts, and both of those versions also have a version without the text. Anyway, now that that's over with, I'll get into the actual description! Wow, this took a long time. Hours. More hours than I've ever spent on a single drawing. It's been so long since I started this piece, that I don't even know when I began. It took a while, though, at the very least a couple weeks, give or take. Proof? The speedpaint is 42 minutes long. F o r t y t w o. Normally it's only two minutes- this speedpaint is forty minutes longer! I learned a lot and experimented a lot with this. Expressions, eyebrows, backgrounds, and my most feared enemy. T r e e s. xDD Seriously, though, trees have been the hardest thing for me to draw for months, probably since I even began drawing! I've finally conquered their branches, but the leaves are still to come. This background is the most complex I've ever done, the lighting and shading was also the most complex I've ever done, and I've never done this many characters in a single drawing before. While I can see places this could have improvement... I'm proud of this piece and of what it accomplished. Whether it wins or not, I'll be glad I did it. I can tell it'll be an important piece in my art journey. Thanks for giving me this opportunity, Ash! I had fun with it. P.S: Pfft Del Segna's eyebrows disappeared because of all the shading and brightness & contrast filters done over it xDDD she's supposed to have worried eyebrows P.S.S: I spent almost the entirety of yesterday working on this- otherwise I'd still be shading trees!
