This is to give students a sense of how to create a game to track player progress. You can duplicate the ball to create more difficulty. With this as a start, add points each time the ball hits the paddle to see your points and a timer to see how long it took. Change the speed of the ball for more difficulty. Add a space bar to pause the game and r for restart.
So the inspiration for this was the original pong game of yore which I decided would be a great basis to teach game design to new students. Hope you can get excited about the possibilities. Look forward to going beyond pong in your future!
