Do You Know How It Feels A Poem By Me Do you know How it feels To be alone? To have friends But not real friends. Do you know How it feels To be alone? People who like you because You have a cool accent And you are smart. Do you know How it feels To be alone? To be surrounded with smiles On those peoples faces Who don’t know a single thing About you The real you. Do you know How it feels To be alone? Every year You find a new friend, A new hope, But they all turn out the same. They don’t care a thing about you. Do you know How it feels To be alone? And now you are scared Scared that your new friend will be like this Because everyone else was. Do you know How it feels To be alone? You have friends, Sure, But not a best friend who you’ve know for Years and years Had so many memories Do you know How it feels To be alone? The fear. The caution - It’s eating me away Because I am scared That I will be Forever alone.
This is a poem 100% by me I do have friends but we can’t see each other that often we haven’t been in the same class since - maybe kindergarten or 1st grade. I am writing this to all the other people out there who maybe feel the same so we can feel just a little less alone. #DoYouKnow
