Like in the tale of Arachne, Polemosia was a gifted artist, but unlike Arachne's pride, Polemos was kind and caring. Everyone was awed by her works of art, and she became so good that she even caught the attention of the Gods. Minerva/Athena, Goddess of war strategy, wisdom, and arts and crafts (depends on whether you think of her as Minerva or her Greek form Athena) came down to watch Polemosia. She became jealous and placed a curse on the fair maiden, giving her the desire for bloodshed and war. Polemosia became savage, destroying the lands she came across and going on a quest to k!ll the most powerful beasts on the Earth. She was so powerful she slew the minotaur and wore his hide as armor. Eventually, though, she went too far for the gods. As she was destroying everything in her wake, she came across a rumor of the most powerful weapon in the universe; Zeus' thunderbolt, forged by the ancient cyclopes. She longed for such power and made it her goal to have it for herself. She snuck to Olympus and snatched the lighting bolt from Zeus' clutches. Overcome with rage, Zeus snapped his fingers, electrocuting and k!ll!ng Polemosia. He then cast her body and his weapon into the sky as a warning to thieves of all kinds.
