I have no idea if my irl friends know that I do "realism", but I do, and here are a few sketches. 1. This one is pretty old, I don't really like it anymore. Gosh... How old is this one? I feel like I remember having my grandparents over at my house the day that I drew this, so it was before the pandemic... Yeah, I don't like this one. 2. I actually really like this one, but that's probably because I drew it like 8 months ago and have been tweaking here and there ever since as my skills improve. The shine on the hair looks gorgeous to me. 3. This one's really old too. And... I hate it. A lot of my older realism attempts aren't very proportionate, or I'm trying a new technique and it fails, so most of my "realism" pieces don't look very good, but I mean, they're sketches, so what? 4. I actually did this little doodle of some lips today (May 13th, 2021), and I love how they came out! The shading is beautiful in my opinion. 5. This one's my favorite. I was trying a new eye technique, and this was done same day as #4. I tried to put some eye makeup on, I'm not sure how well I accomplished that, though.
