How to use: Enter what you want a to be, then b, then c. Only use numbers and decimals. I made this because I don’t want to type in the equation into my calculator over and over again, keeping everything the same except a, b, and c. This will hopefully save me time.
Feel free to use this as long as you give credit. How this works: It asks what you want a, b, and c to be in the equation aX^(2)+bX+c=0. It then uses the quadratic formula {X=(-b±√(b^(2)-4ac)/2a} to solve for X. It then checks if theres only numbers or if a≠0. If either of these are false theres no solution and it explains why. Then it plugs in a, b, c, and X back into he original equation to see if it = 0 (a blank is also 0). If it doesn’t, then there are no solutions. If it does, it then checks to see if theres 1 or 2 solutions. Then it tells your the equations.
