Chapter Four- "What-- what do you mean?" I asked. "I don't understand!" "Do you see my form?" The shadowy figure asked. "I am the Spider Deity- and I was never supposed to be this way. You're grandmother... turned me into this." "I don't even remember my grandmother! What does this have to do with me?" I yelped. "For long I have waited for a kit as pure as you to come into the world... and now that you have... I can have my revenge." The Spider Deity hissed. "Revenge?" "Yes. Revenge. It is time for you to fulfill your promise." "How?" The Spider Deity touched her paw to my head. "This way." My fur's color began to shift to pitch black. Spiders skittered from the Spider Deity's fur and into mine. The Spider Deity cracked a horrible grin. "You are to be like me, now, warrior. I bestow upon you my curse." Her fur, too, began to change. But it took on orange-tabby-striped colors. Her eyes shifted to a gentle green. I was looking at... myself. The Spider Deity was somehow now me. ...And I was the Spider Deity. "Help!" The Spider Deity, or, now, Fake-Me, screeched. "There's a monster in camp!" Perfectheart came running. "Tansysong- are you?" He glanced at me and growled. "Tansysong, stay back. I'll take care of this." "No, no! There's a huge mistake!" I cried, but Pefectheart slashed at my face. "GET OUT OF HERE!" He roared. I ran.
