കേരള സദ്യ | Kerala Sadya This project gives scratch cat Kerala's traditional meal during birthday. A Sadya! This project is for the Scratch Week : Day 2 Studio Cooking with Scratch Sadya or meal is a tradition in Kerala. In this Scratch Week I just wanted to show you our traditional meal. Normally Sadya is elaborate, but here I have made a simple and humble Sadya. And Sadya contains Payasam (dessert). Normally we have the Ada Payasam (the Payasam made of Ada) and we call it "Ada Prathaman". I couldn't draw the Payasam. This Sadya contains ഇഞ്ചി അച്ചാർ (Ginger Pickle), മാങ്ങാ അച്ചാർ (Mango Pickle), പയർ തോരൻ (Dal Thoran), കിച്ചടി (Kichadi), അവിയൽ (Aviyal), ചോറ് (Boiled Rice), സാമ്പാർ (Sambar), പരിപ്പ് (Dal Curry), പപ്പടം (Pappad), വാഴയ്ക്കാ വറ്റൽ (Chips), ഉപ്പേരി (Sweets), പഴം (Plantain Fruit [Banana]). Sorry I am not good at drawing :P If you look inside you can see the items separate as each costumes. I didn't do any scripting :D So it is not interactive. - Sadya is normally made during Onam (our harverst festival), our birthdays, and in marriages. - Annually there will be a contest of the fastest boat in Arnmula called ആറന്മുള വള്ളം കളി (Aranmula Vallamkali). There is a Sadya called ആറന്മുള വള്ളസദ്യ (Aranmula Vallasadya). That Sadya contains over 70 dishes ! If you haven't yet eaten a Sadhya, when you can, try Sadya, you won't regret it :D
