When we are young, we often are afraid of what happens when the lights go out. However, for this SDS, we explore the crazy things that go on in the dark! I often like to wonder what goes on at night, especially the stuff that I don't see, so I decided to propose this SDS theme! I've made a potential thumb [in the project] and I'll include some desc layout ideas as well. I think that Turn Out The Lights would be a great SDS because it would allow Scratchers to explore a a world that we don't see, and it offers a world of possiblilities! They could send Scratch Cat on an adventure through a pitch black maze, they could show a secret world that emerges at night, and so much more! The nice thing about this SDS theme, is that there are no limits to what could happen, and will let Scratchers' imaginations run wild!
Welcome to the new SDS, Turn Out The Lights! Have you ever wondered what goes on once you turn out the lights to sleep? What happens when the sun sets and the stars come out? How about what your stuffed animals do once you close your eyes? In this Scratch Design Studio, we invite you to create projects about what you think happens when you turn off the lights! Let your imagination run wild, the sky is the limit! Here are some ideas to get you started: - Create a project about finding a lost object in the dark - Make a platformer about exploring a room at night - Animate what your stuffed animals do when you fall asleep - Write a story about something that comes out at night - Create a game about Scratch Cat going on secret missions in the dark - Animate what you think animals dream about - Make a game about lights going out, and the Scratcher has to turn them on again - Create a room that transforms when the lights go off Remember, these are only suggestions! You are welcome to come up with your own ideas as well. _____ To have your project added to this studio, please post a comment with the link.
