Characters: Moon, black she-cat purple tipped tail and marking and eyes. Silver moon necklace and circlet. Sun, white tom yellow eyes/tipped tail/markings, gold sun necklace, crown (on the ground in front of him), and bands on his tail and leg. Backstory/story: Long ago two cats ruled. They were the king and queen of balance. The Queen was named Moon and ruled the night, darkness, shadows, and other things among that. The King was named Sun and ruled the day, light, and other things. Together they kept the world in balance. Many thought that Moon ruled evil and Sun ruled good but in truth neither ruled one or the other. Moon was simple and preferred not to make anything a big deal while Sun loved extravagant and elaborate things. With this love though came greed. He lashed out at servants and those who made him angry but never killed. He hid this all from Moon thinking she would stop him. One day he saw a beautiful necklace on a servant and demanded that it was given to him. The servant refused because the necklace was a gift from her mother who had passed. Sun grew furious and in his rage killed the young servant. Realizing what he had done he took the necklace and looked around knowing he had to hide what he had done, but it was too late. Moon saw him and the fallen servant and was angry, but sad as well. It was then that she realized Sun, her beloved mate, had grown too cruel and angry. She held a trial for him at night when he held no power and sentenced him to fade. Sun could not be killed since that would tip the balance too much. So he faded and his spirit found another cat to live with. This cat could use Sun's powers but the cat's personality would not be changed by Sun's. Moon knew what she did was right but it still hurt. She managed to find happiness with the new king, Gold, but she always felt like something was missing, like there was a hole in her heart that she knew would never be filled.
