a straight from scratch (haha i said it so unfunny) rewrite of my other "test engine" that was really buggy and had nothing to do in it. this time I created question mark blocks, destructible bricks, an actual blue background and working super mushrooms. it also took me SO long to make just for another glitchy mess of code so I hope at least someone sees this arrow keys to move (there's no WASD support yet) up arrow to jump also no ducking yet and hold X to sprint v1.0 - initial release v1.0.1 - added goombas - you can stomp on them and die to them. also made mushroom a bit slower. P.S. I'm not on my main PC right now so don't expect sound and death costume on that. when i get back on i'll release a patch v1.0.1.1 - not the death patch, but fixed 2 bugs with the mushroom, also made it so when you hold up arrow when stomping a goomba you jump higher v1.0.1.2 - sounds and costume on death should work fine now, however when you damage yourself as big mario it breaks  v1.0.2 - small bugfixes v1.0.2.1 - working on fixing the "damaging yourself as big mario" still buggy but should not softlock the entire game now
credits to: nintendo - absolutely everything nesmaps - most of the sprites sounds resource - sounds and idk why scratch 3 makes the sprites so unpixelated it doesnt even feel like a retro game anymore, even in fullscreen (or is it just me)
