Welcome to Lance's Diner! The place may seem a bit run down, but we serve the best food in town here. Thanks for coming on such short notice to serve our customers! (Instructions/Tutorial Below - Skip if you want to learn by playing) In Lance's Diner YOU are the cook, waiter, and manager. Sometimes this can be stressful but here are some easy tips on how to complete each day as a worker! 1) Check the Drive Through AND Counter orders 2) Prepare multiple items at once 3) Be aware of your surroundings Information on how to cook each item and operate each system is below Preface. Checking Orders At any time press C or click the "Orders" button to open or close the current orders tab. 1. Drive Through Window Ensure the copper latch is facing down and use the green and red buttons to open and shut the window. 2. Making Drinks Drag the correct size cup under the nozzle for the right flavor of soda and wait for it to fill. Drag a lid onto the cup. Drag a straw onto the cup. 3. Cooking Fries Drag the box of French fries over the fry basket. Drag the basket into the fryer. Wait 10 seconds. The fryer basket will pop up automatically, no alarm will sound. Drag the salt shaker over the basket. Drag the basket over the LD trademark fry box. 4. Cooking Hot Dogs & Burgers Open the fridge below the grill. Drag the correct type of meat onto the grill to start cooking. Wait 10 seconds. You need to flip the meat at this point. A low pitched alarm will sound to remind you. Click to flip the meat. Wait another 10 seconds. A high pitches alarm will alert you the meat is done cooking. 5. Building Hot Dogs & Burgers Drag the fully cooked meat onto an open bun of the correct type on the shelf to the left. Sauces are ready to use and can be dragged over the bun to finish. Onions, tomatos, and pickles must be cut first. Drag a cut topping from the cutting board onto the meat to finish. 6. Cutting Toppings Grab the correct topping from the bin on the shelf and drag it to the cutting board above. Drag the knife over the cutting board to cut the topping. 7. Serving Orders Click the bell at the counter or box below the drive through window to serve an order. Your completed items are listed on the left and the required items for each order are listed on the right. You must be at the same location where the order was placed. Cycle through with the arrows and find the order you are serving. Click serve order. Pay attention to any errors. Have fun playing!!
