So, this is based on my Splatoon Horror AU. In it, there is a corruption spreading through Inkopolis. A Tainted Inkling or Octoling were people affected by the corruption. Those who are Tainted end up turning into monstrous husks of their former selves, unable to remember most of what happened before.
