Basically I was watching random youtube at 1:30am and decided I felt like writing some quotes in a way that looks nice. But it was(and still is as of me writing this) 2am. So. Not really sure how they turned out but they were pretty quick. Sorry for the bad handwriting, my stylus was glitching and also, *cough* 2AM *cough* probably made it worse. Anyway. Below is detailed descriptions of what each quote means to me because at 2am I like talking about random stuff. For the hope of it all(august): Within the song, this is the narrator talking about how their summer was like being even younger and doing things simply for the hope of it all, because they were young and in love. I relate to this a lot because I'm a very hope driven person in general. I tend to act more pessimistic but even that's out of the hope that my expectations will be able to be exceeded. Knew you'd haunt all of my what-ifs: Whenever something goes wrong or I do something wrong or I get a glance from someone that makes me feel like I did something wrong I tend to freak out a bit and go into a bunch of worrying and what-ifs, and honestly, there are a few people who are or were close to me who are just everywhere in my mind and haunt all of my what-ifs. Overdramatic and true: I am the second most overdramatic person I've ever met. It's just who I am. With every guitar string scar on my hand: I just really like the idea that in marriage, and any kind of love really, you can't just accept the good parts of someone. You have to accept all of them, scars and mistakes and tears and all. This hope is treacherous: again along with the theme of hope, I've found that hope can sometimes be really painful. It's like a good friend who also might backstab you at any given moment. Nothing safe is worth the drive: I really really believe this one. Nothing good comes without risks. That's just the way of the world. okayy honestly a lot of those are mostly just pretty quotes. I'm tired. Good whatever time of day it is for you. -pen
