Ohai there. My name is The Fault In Our Stars. I am a sad, enlightening, funny, dramatic, and romantic book. I am written by John Green, who is an incredible author. I am @hhbjackson's favorite book. Here's a little of what happens in me: Meet Hazel. Her life sucks. She has Stage 4 (out of 5 stages) lung cancer, her social life has deteriorated to nothing, and she doesn't really do much because she has overprotective parents. They are only that way because they love her, but still. One day, her doctor tells her a cancer support group will be good for her. So she goes, with much reluctancy, simply to please her parents. It is pretty stupid, but there she has the good fortune of meeting Augustus Waters. He is an athletic, metaphorical, comical, soulful guy who finds Hazel beautiful. He starts calling her 'Hazel Grace' (her first and middle names) for some inexplicable reason, but that's beside the point. Anyways, they fall in love, and eventually go to Amsterdam. That, by the way, will make sense in the context of the book, if you read it. I am a bittersweet love story about two people hanging on to their lives. I am only to be read with a box of tissues close at hand. I am only to be read by ages 11 and up. Thank you for your time. -TFIOS
Hey guys! So, I'm going to start doing these, oh, maybe weekly, where I put out a review of a movie, or a book, or a short story, or something. It should be fun. This is my favorite book and movie, so I started with this one. *Note: Yes, this is the movie for which Charli XCX wrote 'Boom Clap'. Y'know, that song that was stuck in your head nearly all of Fall 2014? Yeah.
