Chapter 1 : Open your Eyes…. ========================================== “Ace….” “Ace…wake up….” “Open your eyes……wake up……” The female voice rang in his ears, the water surrounding his body started to drain away as his eyes slowly fluttered open. “W-what……?” The male hedgehog slowly sat up and looked around, his vision still somewhat blurry. Then the familiar voice rang in his head once more. “You have been asleep….for 100 years………..you have to wake up….” “100…..what…? W-where…..am I……? “ Ace looked down at his rugged clothes, ripped and quite obvious a bit small on him, he slowly crawled out of where he had been laying. The room around him was dark…the only light there was, was given off by the blue glow of the carvings all around the walls of the room. In the corner he spotted a kind of pedestal, with a slate like object propped on the flat surface of it. He tilted his head, curious and walked over to it. “That is the Sheikah Slate…..take it…..it will help you after your long slumber…..” He heard the female voice again. He had never heard it before…..yet it sounded of so familiar. Same as the slate he now held in his two hands. As his amber eyes glared at the object, he found no recollection of it in his mind…in fact, he couldn’t remember anything…who he was, where he was, or why he was here, who the soothing voice in his head had belonged to, In all, Ace was lost. After pondering about the slate a few moments more large Doors opened after the pedestal the slate was on began to glow. He peered outside, able to see the light of the sun, he used one hand to block the light from his eyes while they adjusted. He walked out of the room, a bit unsure. After jumping up a small wall, he was able to walk outside. After looking around for a few moments he walked up to the edge of one of the cliffs. It overlooked a huge land below him, and in the center of it, a large castle with a glowing golden light from the center. “Ace…..you are the light……our light…….that must shine upon Hyrule….once again….” ==========================================
