//The first litter you see is the first litter Lightpaws ever had, being her three sons. The names of the kits, in order from left to right, are Lemonkit, Cowkit, and Snowkit. Their warrior names are Lemonhiss, Cowfoot, and Snowberry.\\ //Press space to see Lightpaws's second litter. (Press the green flag again to see her sons.) This litter is with the same father as her first, who is Hawksky. These kits are her only daughters. The names of the kits, in order from left to right, are Pumpkinkit and Hazel. (Explained in Notes and Credits.)\\ //You can recolor if you like, just give proper credit :)\\
I haven't come up with official designs for Pumpkinkit and Hazel yet, so I just gave them somewhat random tortoiseshell designs. Hazel has the spots and stripes of her brothers, and the same brown color of Hawksky and Cowfoot, which is her base color. Pumpkinkit's base is the black from her mother, and she has tortoiseshell spots/patches with the white from Lightpaws and the ginger from Hawksky and Lemonhiss. Her markings stand out from her family, but her colors help her to blend in. //The reason why Hazel doesn't have the name "kit" is a bit of a long story, so buckle in. Luna, aka Lightpaws, was a kittypet living in the small house at the horseplace, but she spent most of her time at the barn where her mother, Marble, lived. Luna was raised in the barn from kittenhood until she was around four moons old, when she took to the life of a kittypet. It was only because the house was warm and her housefolk gave her food, so she didn't have to hunt regularly. Since these were her only reasons, she spent most of her life living with her mom, her brothers Night and Onyx, and her sisters Inky, Twilight, and Puma. Luna was very close to her family. She also explored the territories outside of the horseplace from time to time. On one of her adventures, she came across a wild tomcat by the name of Hawksky. They quickly became friends despite their different lives, and met up frequently at the Windclan border. But, Luna was soon his mate and pregnant with his kits. (She is 13 moons old at this point.) She didn't want to part with her kits, so she considered staying in the barn and raising them. But in that case, she'd never see Hawksky. So, after speaking to Tunnelstar, she joined Windclan. Of course, Luna was heartbroken to leave her family back at the barn, but she and Hawksky snuck out at night sometimes to see them. Luna kept her name while she was briefly training under Hawksky. Her training was brief because she never intended to hunt or fight too much, and wished to join the nursery with the other queen, Goldenshine, who she had already become good friends with. After Luna's training, which was about two moons long, she conveniently had her kits about a quarter-moon after. She was given the name Lightpaws for her white paws and her ability to be quick and silent. If she hadn't decided to become a queen, Lightpaws probably would've been a great companion in battle. But luckily, Tunnelstar respected her choice. Lightpaws named her three sons after her life in the horseplace. The oldest, a brown-and-black kit, was named Cowkit after a large brown cow at the barn who never failed to fascinate her. Her second-born, a ginger kit, was named Lemonkit after a lemon tree that Onyx once convinced her to eat the fruit from. And her youngest, a white-and-gray tom, was named Snowkit after the first snow she'd seen. It was probably the most beautiful leaf-bare she'd ever experience. Okay, flash-forward. Lightpaws and Hawksky's kits have been warriors for about 40 moons and they were expecting another litter. With becoming a Clan cat and having a large family, Lightpaws barely visited Marble anymore. Keep this in mind. The second litter is two she-kits, a tortoiseshell-and-white kit and another tortoiseshell kit who is more brown and resembles Hawksky much more. She had introduced her sons to Marble secretly, and did the same for her she-kits. It was leaf-fall when she and Hawksky visited the barn cats, so the housefolk were growing large orange plants that Lightpaws recognized as pumpkins. When they were at the barn, Lightpaws admitted to her mother that she would probably visit very occasionally. Marble understood, but was clearly devastated. Lightpaw's siblings shared their mother's feelings. Lightpaws named her kit that resembled herself more Pumpkinkit, after the visit. Hawksky and Lightpaws felt incredibly sorry for the barn cats, and offered for them to raise their other daughter to remind them of Lightpaws. Marble agreed, but told them many times that they didn't have to sacrifice their daughter. But Lightpaws insisted. Marble made sure that Lightpaws and Hawksky knew that she would tell stories about the kit's parents. Night, Onyx, Inky, Twilight, and Puma all decided on the name Hazel for their new companion and promised to raise their niece well.\\ //Fun facts! Hawksky only has spots. The stripes and backstripe on Lightpaws's kits come from their grandfather, a tabby loner called Knot. Onyx represents him the most. Snowkit's gray markings and black nose come from Marble. Pumpkinkit plans to sneak out to the barn when she's an apprentice to meet her sister Hazel. Snowkit was born a runt, but grew into a (almost) regularly sized body, somehow turning out to be quite long as well. Lemonkit is the only "normal" sized kit in his litter, with Snowkit being a runt and Cowkit being large. (This is a coincidence. Cowkit's name is not an insult) Hazel has one faint memory of Pumpkinkit, which is rolling over her.//
