I decided to try drawing my oc, Aichiko, into a scene from BNHA (or MHA if you prefer the English dub and name). I'm actually really proud of how it turned out, and might make more of these in the future. Sorry that the art is pixel-y. Scratch does it automatically to all images I upload. Right and left arrow keys to navigate. Space bar also works. In case anyone is interested on how I made this, here are some step-by-step instructions: 1. Open FireAlpaca (or your program of choice). 2. Make a new project and make the scene you want to use the bottom layer. 3. Pick a character already in the scene/in a different scene from the show that you have a picture of. 4. Copy that character, resize them, and place them wherever you want them in the frame. Make sure they are on a different layer than the scene. (This copied character will be used to make sure what you draw looks more like the show's style than your own). 5. Lower the opacity of the scene and chosen character, but keep the opacity of the chosen character higher than that of the scene. 6. Create a new layer. 7. On the new layer, sketch out the character you are inserting into the photo over the character you chose earlier. 8. Delete chosen character. 9. Make your line art. 10. Using colors in the scene, or in other scenes from the show, bring life to your character! (This will keep the color palette of your character the same as the color palette of the show). 11. SHADE THAT BAD BOI Felicitations! You have inserted someone into the scene! Go grab a cookie to celebrate!
