Chapter 3 : The Plateau Tower ========================================== Spade and Ace had left to explore some of the area around them. Ace had slipped into the new tunic he was given, and it fit surprisingly well. “So….lemme get this straight…….you’re…..around 200 years old….? “ Ace asked the Transformling as they walked through some brush. “Yeaahhh….Transformlings live longer than you hedgehogs…….although technically your over 100….. that’s actually only because of the whole……shrine you were in before…..” He replied. “Oh….I see…..guess I uh….missed a bit…..” “Yeah- “ Spade said, trying not to spill anything he shouldn’t. Ace suddenly stopped moving, he had both ears perked and he shot his gaze over to the castle again. “Uh…..Ace….? “ “……it’s her again…….her voice…….” After a few moments he looked down at the sheikah slate on his belt, gently taking it off and noticing on the map, there was a little blinking yellow pin. “Hm……” “ who…? What….? “ Spade trotted back over to him, standing on his hind legs to peer at the slate Ace held. “ Come on…..we have to head towards the other side of the plateau…..” The male hedgehog started to walk the other direction, placing the slate back on his hip. “Hey! Wait for me! “ Spade yipped, running after him. After quite some time, Ace and Spade were able to sneak around the monsters and find their way to the location on the map. Under some huge rocks, there was a pedestal that looked similar to the one Ace had used to leave the shrine. “That symbol again……” He walked over to it and held the slate in his hands, he held it up to the pedestal and the same chime came from it that the other pedestal had made. “Sheikah Slate authenticated—watch out for falling rocks” the slate screen read. “Falling what now- GAH! “ Ace was cut off by a intense shaking beneath his legs. Both Ace and Spade started to rise from the ground on what seemed like a platform. The rocks fell off the top of the towering object, a few of them hitting the monsters below. After a few moments they could tell that they were now standing in a huge, tall tower that had a familiar glow to it. “Geez- “ Spade said, standing up and glancing off the edge of the tower. “Hooowwww….did that happen…? “ Spade’s words didn’t even reach Ace, he was too focused on the new view of the huge castle. You could see a large malice like creature circling it, it roared loudly, shaking the air around them. “Ehh……..that thing…..w-what is it……? “ Spades ears fell down when he looked over at the castle, he whispered under his breath. “Ganon……” “What was that, Spade…?” “O-oh…..nothing….come on….let’s go back down……I don’t need anymore rock falling on me…” he said with a huff and started to hop down the platforms to get down. Ace glanced at the castle once more time, his ears falling at bit. “I’ll figure out who you are,……….and what that thing that’s hurting you is………I promise…….” ==========================================
