EDIT: I just redid this today! I feel like I was more on-key and I tried to use my vibrato a bit more, but there aren’t any really long notes so it was a bit hard to incorporate that. But now the thumbnail isn’t working…sometimes the whole thumbnail thing makes me so mad lol. Ok, so this is my first cover on this account and while I sound sort of like a dying donkey, I am actually proud of it!! Olivia Rodrigo is probably my favourite singer and I would absolutely recommend listening to ‘sour’, her album, as well as the original version of ‘drivers license’ if you haven’t already—you probably have! It is one of my top three favourite songs of hers! I didn’t do the bridge because I didn’t want to have to do all of the effects because I am a newbie to GarageBand hehehe... But I am proud of it because I feel like on my ‘deja vu’ cover on my @x_sunflxwer_x account, I was trying too much to sound like Olivia and it strained my voice a bit since I’m younger and it didn’t sound as good. This time I drank tons of water, warmed up before recording, and sang with my natural voice and I like how it turned out. During the high notes of the first chorus my voice got a little hoarse and sounded a bit wobbly for the rest of the song, although it sounded a bit better in the last chorus.
