Take a deep breath and relax. Let go of your worries and dive underwater. Let the tension in your muscles leech away. ---- Fullscreen. Turn up your volume and brightness. Use the mouse to look. Moving light particle sprites and the script for changing the colour of the backdrop are from @willywu in their project 'Quantum Forest'. The 'whale' sprite is from @NickyNouse from the project https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/16795490/ I looked at https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/157221/ by @blob8108 to get an idea of how to make a z axis. All images used unless otherwise mentioned are under Pexel's license which makes them free to use with no attribution required. I have edited them with Krita to make the sprites. Music: Mirage by Kevin MacLeod Link: https://incompetech.filmmusic.io/song/4057-mirage License: https://filmmusic.io/standard-license Font for 'Shamu' is Feathergraphy2 from Fontmeme Not originally made for the SDS but it turns out it fits pretty well. 'Q' and 'W' change the speed of the Orca but the maths is a bit broken right now at extreme values. I haven't quite worked out the formula to make the ghost effect proportional for all values of speed. Remix ideas: -In the project you'll find several sliders- some called 'speed' and 'size'. Play around with them and something cool might happen. -Add more scenery frames. Currently I've only made a few randomly repeating ones. -Turn it into a game where Shamu has to dodge obstacles #interactive #art #parallax
