More about the stress mark. 1. It is equivalent to the little marks on top of Spanish vowels. (á, é, í, ó, ú) 2. The stress in Lirán is ALWAYS on the second-to-last vowel, no matter what, so to spell words like "normal", you would have to place an accent on the last syllable. 3. The stress mark is not used to separate diphthongs. Instead, use the vowel indicator and omit the stress mark. 4. It can also be used on top of Largo modifiers. (in words like "dieciséis", sxiteen)
Credit to all.
