Ruby was adopted when she was younger by Rose and Juleka. She was an orphan on the streets, just her and her brother, but he disappeared before she came to live with Rose and Juleka. Ruby spent years trying to find him but couldn’t. She learnt to hide her emotions so no one would know how she felt, but as she got older it became harder for her.
