Okay, first of all: critique. I don't love this drawing. I don't hate it either. But there could be some serious improvement. The flower; I like it, but it doesn't look like a flower, you can't tell at first sight. I'll definitely add details later, but I probably won't come back to this project. It could have better shading and highlights as well. The skin; I've always liked the soft tones of the way I draw skin. But this, this is just too unnatural. It's too soft, it's almost like one big sheet of skin. That's pretty much what skin is, it's not broken up into pieces, but this drawing has no human-y features like in the original. You can't see the cheekbones, I didn't add the freckles, etc. You see my point? The hair; It's also too soft. To be fair, I didn't put much effort into it and hair is my weak spot anyway. But this, I just completely ruined it. I should have/will add(ed) more detail to the curls, defining them more. It just kind of fades into the background. Let's not talk about that neck. [In no way is this hate against my art! This is self-critique, it helps me to see my mistakes and where I can improve.
