[ps, click or spacebar to see my sketch :D]. press m to mute music and n to unmute. <———><———><———><———><———><———> because i felt like it, today i am going to rant about the horrible ship that is Lumine x Childe. just... w h y ? literally. [spoiler warning for the Liyue story quest] so, i guess this won’t make sense without context, but, watch this: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/youtube/nOjZ5j6V_eU/ so, from Childe calling Lumine ‘girlie’, a ship is born. i’m sure you can already see the problems with this. for one, it’s super hetromormitive and allonormative. just because a male and female character come in contact, that doesn’t mean they’re in love. it’s like no one cares if either of them are a/aro-spec. plus, the main characters [Lumine and Aether] don’t get any form of canon ship. the genshin fandom seems to be pretty queer, as there are gay ships within the fandom. [I’m looking at you, Xiao x Venti. sad windy bois pog.] on top of that, Childe has malicious intentions in saving Lumine. [i haven’t finished the archon quest, so i don’t know Childe’s full whatever, but i know it isn’t good]. it isn’t ‘cause he’s a good person and he saw a damsel in distress. despite Childe being so affable, he is one of the Fatui Harbingers, and they, uh, aren’t very good people. besides, Lumine doesn’t have any personality if you choose her at the start. [major spoiler here].
