I changed this so that it would be showing off the concept, because of them not actually allowing it "7.6 Blocking users This feature existed in Scratch 1.4, but the Scratch Team found out that it buried the problem rather than solve it. Even if you block a user, that does not stop the user from harassing other Scratchers. If you are having a problem with a user, be sure to report that user with the Report button, or use Contact Us if the situation requires more explanation." This suggestion has been denied due to this reason. I added an edit in the suggestions post that may fix this issue "However, a system to block users while simultaneously reporting them is NOT rejected; you can discuss them on this topic." This is what I added in response to this. Edit: Fixing the problem with ignoring the problem Somebody replied that this was not likely to happen due to it ignoring the problem instead of resolving it. In response to this, I have come up with a very simple solution. Notify Scratch team whenever someone gets blocked. An optional box would come up, asking why you were blocking the person, to help ST figure out what was wrong with the user. If it said anything bad, such as the person bypassing comment security to find ways to swear, repeatedly saying mean things etc, then ST should be able to help get the user banned.
