<———><———><———><———><———><———> hewo! this was rlly rushed, and i’ll add some actual quality art later ofc, but here’s my entry! i saw this design, and was vibing to my ordinary life + a handful of other creepy-ish songs, so that’s where most of the angst of this came from. click m to mute music, n to unmute, space/click/right arrow to go forwards. gore (but also not rlly, it’s covered)/bIood warning for the next two. major tw for backstory, de*th <———><———><———><———><———><———> bio! name: Louise Ellison age: twelve. she’ll never age another day. gender/orientation: female, she/it, biro ace. species: immortal (basically a goddess, she can’t d*e of illness but can be kiIIed), demid*mon personality: before de*th (see backstory) sweet, kind, people-pleaser, innocent happy little soul, a bit mischievous, generally just a happy twelve year old girl. after dy*ng: cold, much more mischievous and doesn’t care who she hurts in her pranks, numb to most feelings, defaults to happy simply because it’s the easiest to feel, quite clever for one so young. good at misleading people. powers: she doesn’t know. twelve is the age she was supposed to get her powers, but, well... backstory: Louise was a happy little girl. Weird, but happy. She enjoyed the oddest things. And the townspeople didn’t enjoy her. When she was ten, her single mother decided to move to the capital of the Immortal Realm, the Hub, from the small and horrible town she lived in the Under-Realm. They almost made it. They were so, so close. Louise’s mother had filled out every paper, and they were legally cleared to go the Immortal Realm. Irene, her mother, had just finished packing and the two were about to go out the door when there was a knock. Irene opened the door, and there was a tall young man Louise had never seen. He had black hair that touched his shoulders, pale skin, and striking gold eyes. His casual stance, navy blue hoodie, gray jeans, and battered boots didn’t match his brooding look. In his right hand was a book, one that looked battered and well-read, with lots of bookmarks stuff in it, and in his left was a curved black sword. “Good, I caught you before you left. It would have been a real hassle having to get her to take me to the Immortal Realm...” The man said, nearly glowering down on Louise’s mom. “W-what are you doing here? The agreement— I-I have two more years before it’s due—” Irene started. “You do. Before /that/ is due. However... your master wishes for you to check in, and I’ve never liked you, plus, he’s going to pay me handsomely.” The man said, finally looking at Louise. She quickly flinched behind her scared and confused mother, not wanting to meet those creepy gold eyes. “Mommy? What’s happening? Who is this?” “No one important.” Irene snapped. “I’d argue I’m important, but that could be a personal bias.” He said flatly, electing to ignore Louise. “Now, don’t keep your master waiting. I can keep an eye on the kid if you rather go alone.” “I... I’m not leaving her with /you/.” Irene said, seeming like she was struggling. “The insanity? That was Max, not me, you know. While I don’t condone her— last time I did that, she tried to relive my of my head— I’m actually responsible. Besides, I’ll benefit of what’s to come of this kid, once she’s of age.” The man explained, shrugging. Irene sighed. “Fine, Death Boy. You can watch her. But if anything happens to me... take her here. This is where we were heading anyways.” “Mommy! Don’t go, don’t leave me with this creepy guy!” Louise finally spoke up, not able to bear the idea of being separated from her mom, unable to fathom the idea that she’d be gone. “I have to. Besides, I’m /sure/ I’ll come back.” Irene promised, bending down to give Louise a hug. “I’ll be quick.” Irene straightened up, nodded once to the mysterious man, then left, simple as that. Louise sniffed, having a sinking feeling, though she wasn’t sure why. Looking back, she knew why. That was the last time she was her mother. To be continued. I don’t want this to get too dark but uh yeah, if i find somewhere else to post this i might. The gist of the rest is the mysterious guy takes her to this place in the Immortal Realm where nice people raise her until she turns twelve. Then the mystery guy returns when the nice people are away and takes Louise back to the Under-Realm. He’s about to deliver her to the bad guy, Irene’s ‘master’, but decides against it (not entirely ‘cause he’s a good person, but partially because it would tick the mater guy off). Then Louise is kiIIed somehow/dies but also not really, the mysterious guy does something to turn her into a demid*mon, I’m not rlly sure of this part. And from there, Louise e x i s t s . Idk. <———><———><———><———><———><———> art: me () character: Louise’s design is by and belongs to her, anyone else mentioned in the story belongs to me. music: my ordinary life by the living tombstone have a great day <3
Know what I’m breaking my aesthetic desc style for this child <3 so i added a last piece of art and decided to make her personality much much much less angst. Now she’s just a sweet and rather clueless child, whether it be before or after her de*th (so My Ordinary Life doesn’t really match her lol) anyways, backstory: The mystery guy waited a whole ten minutes before bringing Louise (who wasn’t about to argue with him) to some strange place, it had an arena and a manor-like house overlooking the large circle that made put eh fighting area. He led the young child to a room in the large house that looked like it hadn’t been touched in a thousand years. “Here. You can stay here until I arrange things in the Immortal Realm. Aster is going to be /so/ mad at me.” With that, he left, leaving Louise alone in the large room with no one. True to his word, the mysterious guy did arrange things in the Immortal Realm with a dark elf by the name of Aster, who promised to take care of Louise. The girl was able to have a happy life in the Immortal Realm. The mystery guy occasionally visited her, and once, even gave her the book he had with him the day Louise’s mother died. “It’s got a variety of information on your mother. Mostly the bad stuff, but I have a feeling you’ll appreciate it, no?” Louise nodded, already flipping through the pages of the heavy book. /Wow. His hand must hurt from writing so much./ The day Louise turned twelve was the day she died. She was in the living room of Aster’s cottage, drawing and watching TV, when there was a knock on the door. Figuring it was Aster, Louise, opened it foolishly. The first arrow of light went through her eye, the other straight through her heart. She collapsed to the floor, unable to feel anything. “NO!” Aster chased after whoever it was who kiIIed Louise for only a moment before turning back to the dying child. “I’m sorry. I messed up. But I need that book back. Then I can help.” Louise was de*d, but she wasn’t. She knew she was completely gone, she couldn’t move, her eyes were fixed on the ceiling, she wasn’t breathing. But she hadn’t gone to the Under-Realm. She could barely think. It was so... sluggish. What if she did give in to the creeping darkness? “Don’t give in, Louise, I can... I can’t save you, but I can...” Aster descended into muttering, their precious book floating by his side. She began chanting, and suddenly the darkness around Louise became ten times more oppressive. “Give in, Louise. De*th Boy will meet you on the other side.” It had been... a while. Louise didn’t remember. All she remembered was her book— which used to belong to someone else, she thought— the manor, the graveyard, and the people who used to help her. She haunted the abandoned mansion, talking to anyone who dared to come close. She was too scared to leave, so this was her home now. She had a broken TV, food and water— even if she didn’t need it— and enough things to keep her young and forgetful brain busy. One day, she saw someone familiar on her TV. “It’s... it’s /him/. The one who gave me this book. It’s him. He’s... he’s /king?!/“ Louise muttered. “I need to find him. He can tell me about my past.” tbc, maybe. Idk at this point but yee
