==== Platformer Controls ==== Plays similar to many platformers on Scratch. Press the arrow keys to move and press the space bar to jump. Get close (but not too close) to a blue spot and point at it with your brush and press [Z] to erase/recolor it. Press [R] to reset the level. ==== Boss Fight Controls ==== Plays similarly to Project Arrhythmia or Just Shapes and Beats. Use [WASD] to move and [Space] to roll. Rolling gives you temporary invincibility. Click on red boxes with "A" on them to do damage and recover a hit point. ==== Miscellaneous ==== Holding [Space] on the title screen for 2 seconds shows a button that lets you skip to the boss fight. [Q] hides UI variables at the top right. [E] reveals those UI variables. ----- Changelog ----- ~ June 8th, 2021: Released. Bug fixes, optimizations, and increased difficulty of Berry. ~ July 8th, 2021: Minor patches. Added speech/thought animation, changed a couple of levels a little, made it so that you don't have to restart the project if you jump into a wall, small dialogue changes, and fixed volume issues. ~ August 6th, 2021: Minor patch of movement script. Prevents Rose from moving to the right as soon as the project's platforming engine starts for the first time.
I was planning on adding custom sliders and causing more things to be wriggly, but I'm too lazy. Most of the patches listed below. ~ Plugged in the lonely physics engine to the controls. Should be smoother now. ~ Made the UI variables disappear during cutscenes. ~ Changed boss attacks to be cooler and less glitchy, but harder. ~ Added a roll animation. Now it's a roll, not a dash. ~ Made the roll boost you. ~ Combined several scripts for efficiency and removed duplicates. ~ Possibly broken variable appearances/disappearances. ~ Modified the hitbox of a level to be less easy. ~ Added many aesthetic effects. ~ Added title screen music. Thanks to a friend! ~ Put the audio files for Berry's fight theme together. ~ Changed the way to get to the boss fight from the beginning. ~ Made use of both Cave music tracks. ~ Removed the blue wall at the left of level 11, adjusted script to not allow you to return to level 10. ~ Added typewriter-like speech/thought. ~ Made low gravity actually low gravity. ~ Made it so that jumping into a wall doesn't break your computer. ~ Some dialogue changes.
