Those who walked passed her only heard a few words, such as, “not again..” “wouldn’t do it..” “stop taking innocents..” The she-cat avoided every dark alleyway she could, hoping they wouldn’t find her. Who? She doesn’t know. But they were following her. She could sense them. They were after her because she knew too much. They wanted to take her and.. What were they going to do to her? She forgot.. That made her even more scared. Something moved at the corner of the she-cat’s vision. She froze, her head darting back and forth. They found her. She knew it. She had to get home before.. Wait, which way was home? She didn’t know where she was.. A nearby sign read, “Southwest Winter Street.” That wasn’t anywhere near home. Or.. was it? Where was home? She couldn’t remember.. A shadow moved towards her. The she-cat ran, only to bump into one of them. A mysterious figure wearing a dark cloak with a navy trim. She stopped, and stared into its glowing red eyes. Its face wasn’t visible in the dim light, but those eyes.. she’ll never forget those glowing red eyes. The next thing she knew, she was unconscious. Wish doesn’t remember anything from over a year and a half ago. She gets a headache whenever she tries to remember. But the past doesn’t matter. In the present, she lives in a little house on Southwest Winter Street. She lives in the small town of Jellyfish Beach with her older brother. She’s always been fascinated by his red eyes.
