So I'm trying to draw Colossi as humans. I've got one of Celosia & Cenobia in progress, by the way. But this is Dirge. Not my best work, but it's good enough. - The two curved swords represent the mandible things - The cloak is patched because Dirge looks far more... I guess 'eroded' is the best word... than some other colossi. It's also just the logical result of resting your cloak on your sword like that. - Additionally, the cloak serves to hide her limbs. 'Cause, you know. Snake. - And it could be used to erase footprints in the sand. i.e. "It's tracks are well hidden". Ideally I would've made it longer for that, but by the time I realised it was too late. It could still be used to create a breeze to cover tracks, though. - Plats (plaits?) just remind me of snakes. Like, always.
Shadow of the Colossus. ...And yes, I interpret Dirge as female. Don't judge me.
