Rygel and Why I Made Them

Heyo! It's time to introduce my 10th sona, Rygel. Even tho Rygel is very new and still a HUGE WIP of a character, they mean alot. They now share the title of Main Sona with Musha! I will answer to any form of my username, 'Musha' and now 'Rygel' Space to flip between the two versions! 1. No effects, just flats and blue gradients which can be simplified to blocks 2. Glowing effects and subtle shading I made Rygel to embody a side of myself I just recently came to terms with, the fact that I'm a Demigirl(going by both She/Her and They/Them). While I still answer to she/her most of the time, there are just somedays where I wake up and go 'nope, not feeling she/her, today. They/them it is' and I realized my current main fursona, while I changed her pronouns to also be she/her/they/them as she's supposed to be me to a 'T', she just looks more feminine than I feel sometimes. I considered changing her design to fit, but I love her design the way it is and can't bring myself to do that at the moment. SO, I decided to make another sona, who is my main alongside Musha to use when I'm not feeling she/her. Now that that's out of the way, Rygel Name: Rygel (Ray-g-l) Pronouns: They/Them Species: Amphibious Newt-like Dragon Personality: An ABSOLUTE GREMLIN, Nerdy, fandom OBSESSED, Memelord Likes: Chocolate, Hoodies, T-Shirts, Animated Shows/Cartoons/Movies, Pocky, Blues, Teal/Aquas, Purples Dislikes: Skirts, neon pinks, ruffles, lace Other: Rygel is selectivly mute Design Inspirations: -Newts and Salamanders -Rainwings and Seawings from the Wings of Fire Franchise, probably cause I just finished up drawing some rainwings before I sat down to design Rygel -The nonbinary pride flag! I hate using pure black in designs(or my art in general), so I changed it to a dark blue to fit my taste! Please, Do Not: -Draw them in any hot/neon pink clothes with or without ruffles and lace. If they /have/ to wear pink they will pick a light, pastel, or baby pink. They used to like all that stuff until it kept getting forced on them by gendersterotype-ing people who don't understand nonbinary.(based on my own experinces, I still enjoy pink tho) -Draw them in any suggestive way, they are my Sona. A representation of myself. Questions I anticipate getting: -Why do they have a femanine upper body if they are nonbinary? I'm on the nonbinary spectrum while still having a femanine appearance, which I am PERFECTLY fine with and don't plan on changing. And since Rygel is a representation of me, I decided to include that detail! You don't have to look androgenous to be nonbinary~
