They were used to this, and loved the rain, but also the rainbows. Usually, They had to wear a raincoat, and they got used to wearing it all the time. Where they lived, there weren’t a lot of people, so they had no friends. That is until they met Kori. Kori, like them, loved rainbows, and had no friends. They quickly became best friends, because they related a lot. They did everything together. They loved going on adventures together, so they usually went on mini adventures. One day, they found a map, and saw a mountain on it. They decided to go together. They packed their things and followed the path, which was longer than they expected. They walked and walked, and finally got to the mountain. It started to rain. They set up a tent and got in. They waited for it to stop raining. Once it did, they stepped out, and saw a rainbow. Niji faced Kori. Niji said, with a moment of hesitation, “Im-Im gay”. Kori didn’t say anything, but smiled. Niji knew that meant Kori accepted them. They looked around and decided to stay there, where they would be free to live the way they wanted.
