aaa entry for @-Moontale-‘s dta !! you should check them out :0 fullscreen recommended !! ;0 you can’t see some things for the books but shh let’s pretend you can <3 skdjdjdks she was really fun to draw :00 and I /think/ I got everything that was on her design but I might have missed some things-,, kinda backstory?? just a wip though-,, [ also it has to do with some um murd3r, it doesn’t get into specifics, just stating it here and there kskjdjsks ] on the book to the right, you might see some characters but it might not be too noticeable ;0 it’s in Japanese but, on the cover of the book it says “I don’t want to die” [ or I might have mistranslated it, also possible ;0 ] I had an idea that the 2 books could maybe represent 2 kids she had killed, and the souls of them transferred into the 2 books, making the “I don’t want to die” on the cover come into place. Then I thought about it more and thought the “book ghost” could have been close to the kids and came to her library often, [ when I say “her library”, I mean the one she kinda haunts-,, ] and then one day they had stopped coming. The little t.v they have in the library that is kinda separate from the rest turns on, and she see two familiar faces appear, the children, and she later hears the 2 kids have been murdered. At the very library she is at. She begins to hear voices coming from a small table with 2 books on it, and she recognizes the books, they were the ones she had gifted to the children without them seeing, she had simply put them on the table they were sitting at, the 2 children never knew it was from her but they appreciated whoever did, and that made her happy, although the “book ghost” never knew, that would be their last visit to the library as humans. She looks through the library some more, not wanting to admit a possibility that maybe just maybe... no. She decides to check the security cameras for clues to who had done it, while skimming through, she sees a figure she is familiar with, herself. She killed them [ not gonna get into specifics tyvm ]. Recalling no memory of doing so. The kids [ now spirits in the books ] always follow her around, despite what she did to them, they forgave her. Only the kids though, the “book ghost” hasn’t yet figured out a way to move on. She sometimes hears voices, saying that it was her fate to end up that way, that there was no other path for her other than this. She never realized how special the kids were to her. Random thing I wanted to add for the kids, I kinda want to add something about how they get little coats for their first visit to the library, and they wear the coats all the time :0 aa okay that was a pain to type,, it’s still not completed since there are a couple of things I might change but I’m overall pretty happy with how it turned out [ kinda ] I plan on working on this for however long this dta is open and figure out designs for the kids and I kinda wanna draw them like said in the kinda backstory thing, when they got the little coats from the library for their first visit :0 dude I swear I messed up something while writing her backstory thing but just pretend that I didn’t and that you can understand what I’m trying to say art- me :0 character design by-
