When Scarlet got her face melted, Peril slayed Scarlet where she stood in front of every dragon. Ruby cowered in fear but Peril assured her that she would live but Aries attacked her anyway. Ruby died at Aries's talons but Peril had no objections. Peril found Soar quite quickly but all he saw was a dangerous dragon. But he did what she said including making a fireproof crown for Peril and fireproof necklaces for Clay's friends so she may touch them without being burnt. During Song 2: Aries has found a suspicious dragon lurking around the palace and brings them to Queen Peril. Peril recognized the dragon as Tanager, a skywing that was fireproof and power-hungry (Like Tigerstar from warrior cats), who had tried for treason three times. She immediately attacked Peril trying to kill her before Tsunami charged and tackled her. Peril immediately ordered Tsunami to attack and kill her. But Tanager injured Tsunami and ran. It flashes to Peril's past from hatching to killing Scarlet. Aries checked Tsunami for serious injuries, of which she had none. Peril stormed to Clay where he lied before she attacked a guard who was flirting with Clay. Clay tried to calm her down but she continued to rant and rave. It then goes to the Ice and Night fight and Jade mountain. She attacks four nightwings immediately killing them. Darkstalker bites into Clay's tail and Peril slashed at him making him release Clay.
